Cellular Technologies

Cellular Technology is referred to containing many small interconnected transmitters as opposed to one big one. Cellular Technology
is what mboile phone networks are derived from, and it is that technology that gave mobile phones the name “cell phones.”
The World first saw First Generation phones in the early 1990’s using GSM. To communicate with one another, the signal is transmitted
through cell towers. The top telecommunications providers in the United States are Verizon Wireless, AT&T;, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
Each of these providers offer the standard 4GLTE nowadays, but 5G is being developed and should reach the market sooner than we know it.
Cell-phones had changed our life dramatically, before it was hard to reach someone if you were not home, but now you can make calls anywhere
around the World.

The technological advances that were made for cell phones have grown at a rate that surpasses another technology that has been created.
Just ten years, the most popular phone out was the Motorola Razr which could only do the bare minimum, calling and texting. Now we have cellular
devices that can communicate with people around the World, surf the web, and help organize our daily activities. The first cell phone was made in 1973 and the weight of that device was
almost 5 poounds. Today, phones are less than a pound and have tiny components and processors that make the device function.
Mobile phomes connect to a wireless communcation network through radio wave or satellite transmissionns. We have millions
of people in the World with a cellular device, that means the cell towers have to be incredibly strong.

People use their cellular devices for almost anything and everything. Sometimes people find it difficult to get off their phones and socialize
physically with each other. Some researchers say that cellular device use has become an “addiction” by teenagers and young adults. People have been
relying too much on technology, that they don’t use their common sense or think for themselves, instead they take the easy way and “Ask Siri”.
Below is a Time Sheet so you can keep track on how many hours you are on your phone.

All of the telecommunication providers in the United States operate on 4G LTE, so whichever company
oen has it runs on the same speed. However, Verizon and AT&T; have more cell towers which means that
you will get service and Internet in more places than T-Mobile and Sprint. All of these companies offer
unlimited data, text and calling; that has become the base standard.

Technology has been growing rapidly and it is really hard to say what is gonna come out next.
We know that 5G is coming to consumers this year or next, which means faster web surfing. Fifth generation is also referred to
as beyond 2020 mobile communications technologies. 5G will not just be faster, but it will have the capability to store huge amounts of data.
Rumors say that scientists are not trying to rely on cell towers on Earth anymore, instead the cell towers will be in Space.
Every year phones become lighter, faster, and more durable. Technology for phones has been growing at a rapid rate.
There are rumors are holographic phones coming to the market, but no one can put a fixed date on when exactly that will come out.
We are not sure what will be the next technological advancement for cellular devices, but we can only wait and see!
