Cellular data usage is exploding and is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years. Wireless carriers are competing to attract customers by embracing the data-driven age and offering unlimited data plans. However, due to the limited nature of wireless spectrum, there is only so much information that can be transmitted over a wireless connection. Carriers have responded by adopting and implementing advanced LTE technologies that allow for greater data throughput to reduce congestion on their networks and improve the experience of the customer.
