There are several different types of Social Media platforms, some of the top one are Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. These allow users to connect with one another through the provided network.

social media platforms used widely among teenagers. The two co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger from Stanford created the app and
in 2012 sold it to Facebook for $1 billion dollars.
Facebook is the largest social media platform ever created. It is used to connect you to your friends and a family, and share moments from your life.
It was originally designed by Mark Zuckerberg from Harvard for college students 2004. The site quickly erupted and now has reached 1.23 billion users.
Twitter is a service for friends and family to connect through an exchange of quick messages. The twist they use is the message posted
online can be a max of 140 characters. People’s post can contain videos, photos, messages, and links. The founder and programmer Evan Williams
created Twitter 2006.
