Introduction: What Is A Computer?

There has been an increase in the use of computers as time goes by. AS every year passes, computers are being reinvented, re-engineered, and is starting to take over the world and starting to evolve. Computers are generalyl used to do research, finding solutions to problems, playing video games, and even communicating with others. What exactly are computers? A computer is a device that is programmable that can store, retrieve, and process data. The term "Computer" was given to humans who performed numerical calculations using calculators. Today, computers are devices that accept input, process, output, and store the data or results. Each part of this computer is made up of input and output devices, which helps the computer operate. There are different parts to a computer such as the desktop computer, flat-panel display, speaker, keyboard, and a mouse. Even though computers are smart and can solve many problems, they are useless without an operating system. An operating system is the most important software/feature that runs on a computer. An operating system manages the compter's memory and processes, as well as the software and hardware. Operating systems allow you to communicate with the computer. The three most common operating system used on computers are Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux.
