Computers are generalyl used to do research, finding solutions to problems, playing video games, and even communicating with others. What exactly are computers? A computer is a device that is programmable that can store, retrieve, and process data. The term "Computer" was given to humans who performed numerical calculations using calculators. Today, computers are devices that accept input, process, output, and store the data or results. Each part of this computer is made up of input and output devices, which helps the computer operate. There are different parts to a computer such as the desktop computer, flat-panel display, speaker, keyboard, and a mouse.
