Introduction

A smartphone is a handheld personal computer with mobile operating system and integrated mobile broadband cellular network connection for voice, SMS, and internet data communication. They are able to run a variety of software components called apps. Most people have smartphones and browse through the web but are all smartphones the same? Is the smartphone technology the same in the U.S compared to other countries like South Korea or China? Samsung and Apple are two of the biggest competitors in the market and we will see how they are related, different, and what makes them unique.
