Ahmaud Arbery, 25, was jogging in a neighborhood outside Brunswick, February 23rd when Gregory McMichael, a former police officer, and his son chased him down with guns, authorities said. Though a prosecutor says he'll let a grand jury decide whether the men who killed Ahmaud Arbery will face charges, many in this south Georgia community can't understand why no one's been arrested. It wasn't until the video of the murder surfaced on social media 2 days ago, causing firestorms throughout various platforms, and powerful social personalities calling for action, that arrests would be made.
I wonder what the future holds for this country and the world in general at the time of this writing. May 8th, 2020. But a lot of people are becoming restless, and are disregarding protocols to stay indoors and social distance, I just hope this virus runs its course and additional waves of sickness don't come about.
