Phil Knight nicknamed "Buck" is the co-founder and former CEO of Nike. A
graduate of the University of Oregon, he ran track under coach Bill
Bowerman, with whom he would co-found Nike with. Born in Portland, Oregon
he first became a CPA and later went on to become an accounting professor
at the Portland State University.

After graduating from the University of Oregon, Knight served in the Army
reserve for 7 years. Shortly after, he enrolled at Stanford Graduate
School of Business. After recieving his masters degree in business
administration he sent out on a trip around the world. Inspired by Japan's
running shoes "Tiger" he formed a partnership with his former coach and
longtime friend Bowerman. Together they created "Blue Ribbon Sports" which
would later on become Nike, Inc.

Nike has become the world's largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel.
With revenue's in excess of $24 billion, it has employed more than 44,000
people worldwide. Named after the Greek goddess of victory, Nike has become
a powerhouse with subsidiares such as Jordan and Converse. Nike sponsors
many high-profile athletes and is recognized around the world with their
trademarks of "Just Do It" and the Swoosh logo.


Real Madrid is a Spanish professional soccer club based in Madrid, Spain.
Founded in 1902, Real Madrid has traditionally worn a white home kit since
the start of the club. The Spanish royal crown can easily be identified
in the emblem. The club is estimated to be worth $4.2 billion, and was the

Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquarterd
in Cupertino, CA. They design, develop, and sell consumer electronics,
computer software, and online services. It is considered one of the Big Four
tech companies along with Amazon, Google, and Facebook. They most recognizable
hardware products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet, and the
Mac personal computer.

Founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne they began by developing
and selling Wozniak's Apple I personal computer. Sales of its computers grew
quickly and within a few years they had a production line. As the market for
personal computers expanded and evolved through the 1990's, Apple lost market
share to the lower-priced doupoly of Microsoft Windows on Intel PC clones.
Bringing Jobs back, he became CEO in 2000 where he rebuilt Apple's status
by launching the iMac in 1998.

Since Steve Jobs passing, Tim Cook became the new CEO. For the 2018 fiscal
year Apple's worldwide annual revenue totaled $265 billion. Apple is the
world's largest technology company by revenue and one of the world's most
valuable companies. Also the world's third-largest mobile phone manufacturer
after Samsung and Huawei. In August 2018, Apple became the first public U.S.
company to be valued at over $1 trillion.
