My Xbox by Nicole Renwick

Xbox,Xbox
You're the one for me
I also love my 3Ds
And my Nitendo Wii

Gamecube, Gameboy
Apple iPod touch
I never thought that I would ever
be in love this much

PacMan, Sonic
Mario and Link
your names are sketched inside my mind
in everlasting ink

Run, jump, flip, hang
Double jump and climb
That's all I want to do
With every second of my time

This is true love
Yes, it's plain to see
Xbox, Xbox
Will you marry me?

Generations of video gmaes
website: https://segareto.org/Generations_of_video_games

The gaming world is growing. In less than 50 years, this world had 8
different "Generations". The first generation started with the release of
the first gaming console called the Magnavox Odyssey. It was inspired by
games and demos made on early mainframe computers and arcade cabinets.
This generation offered an introduction for the gaming world.

Towards the end of the second generation there was a video game crash.
The problem was that it was easy to develop and produce games for systems.
Gaming companies began to confuse and overwhelm the population by over
marketing and over producing games and having many malfunctions. The gaming
world did not spread over seas until the third generation. The release of
Nitendo Entertainment System redefined the gaming world. The third
generation is considered to be the first of the "modern" era video game
generation.

After the third generation, the gaming world kept increasing the bit
graphics. Starting with the 8-bit era during the third generation, the
16-bit era in the fourth generation, and 128-bit era in the sixth
generation. Today, we are in the seventh generation and the gaming world
is showing no signs of slowing down. The introduction and development of
virtual gaming and the next gens that Sony and Microsoft promise are only
examples for what is next.

Inspirational Quote on Winning
"What it takes to be Number One"
by Coach Vincent T. Lombardi

"Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win
once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them
right all of the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.

There is no room for second place. There is only one place in my game, and
that's first place. It is a reality of life that men are competitve and
the most competitive games draw the most competitive men. That's why they
are there-to compete. The object is to win fairly, squarely, by the rules-
but to win.

I don't say these things because I believe in the 'brute' nature of men or
that men must be brutalized to be combative. I believe in God, and I
believe in human decency. But I firmly believe that any man's finest hour-
-his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear--is that moment when he has
worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of
battle - victorious."
